Farmer Using Tablet
Welcome!  Our mission is to advance food and agricultural literacy. We support this through educational media and community-first outreach.

Foraging and Farming supplemental learning materials bridge the gap between the field and the classroom.  We provide educators and homeschoolers with tools to build farming and food-production literacy. We turn agricultural study into structured learning paths for grades K-12 and beyond.

Hydroponic Farming

Hydroponic farms run on recirculated water and nutrients.  The system grows fruits and vegetables in a fraction of the time it takes to produce our food in soil.  Some farmers grow over two acres of crops every 90 days in a 30-foot, temperature-controlled container, using ambient light and nutrients in moving water.  Learn what these urban farmers are building and growing in their water-based farms.
