The Journey

Welcome to Foraging and Farming! Founded in 2023 by Robin Bacon, our goal is to be a go-to resource on heirloom food production, hydroponics, organic systems, mycology, shellfish, and much more! Food is a common thread that touches all aspects of our lives. We produce informative and engaging content showcasing stories about the future of craft baking, heritage grains, mushroom farming, aquaculture, and kelp farming.

Vision:  To be a news and media resource for everyone interested in food production, farming policy for family farmers, and innovative technologies shaping the future of agriculture.  While learning about some special people doing extraordinary things for our food system.

Mission:  To be dedicated to the advancement of informative agricultural content, food product markets, policy, community outreach, and education.
